1 and 1/2 pound fresh broccoli or One 10 ounce package chopped frozen broccoli
One 10 and 3/4 ounce can condensed Cream of Chicken soup
1 tablespoon (tbsp) flour
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 teaspoon (tsp) salt
3/4 herb seasoned stuffing mix
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon (tbsp) greated onion
1/8 teaspoon (tsp) pepper
2 tablespoon (tbsp) butter, melted
Remove outer leaves of broccoli and tough part of stalk; discard. Cut remaining broccoli into 1 inch pieces. Cook stalk pieces in boiling, salt water 5 to 8 minutes; add flowerettes. Cook until tender (approx. 5 minutes more) OR prepare frozen broccoli as per package instructions.
Blend together soup & flour. Add sour cream, carrots, onion, salt & pepper; stir in broccoli. Turn into 2 quart casserole. Combine stuffing mix and butter. Sprinkle around edge of dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
