1-1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen chopped clams with their juice
1 tbsp chopped onion
1/2 c olive oil
1 tsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1/4 tsp cayenne (dried red) papper
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan cheese
Cook fettuccine (or can substitute spaghetti) as driected. Saute onion in oil over med high heat until translucent. Add garlic, saute until lightly colored. Add parsley and hot pepper; stir 3 - 4 times. Add clams and juice; simmer, stirring frequently for 1-2 min. Turn off heat and add butter & cheese. Mix thoroughly.
