1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
1/2 tsp vanilla
Cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and walnuts. Mix well. Press 1/2 of mix into greased 8 inch by 8 inch pan. Reserve half for the top (or less). Bake 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Beat together sugar, cream cheese, milk, egg and vanilla until smooth. Beat in lemon juice. Spread over baked crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and cut.
