1/2 cup sesame oil
3 to 4 Garlic cloves, diced
1 tbsp fresh ginger root, diced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 pound shrimp, cooked, peeled, & deveined
1 pound asparagas, cut into 1 and 1/2 inch chunks
IN A WOK OR LARGE SKILLET COMBINE OIL, GARLIC, GINGER & SOY SAUCE. COOK FOR ABOUT 2 MINUTES ON MEDIUM HIGH. ADD IN ASPARAGAS AND COOK FOR ANOTHER COUPLE MINUTES UNTIL ASPARAGAS ARE PARTIALLY COOKED BUT STILL FIRM. ADD IN THE SHRIMP AND COOK A COUPLE MINUTES MORE TO WARM SHRIMP UP. NOTE: TO THICKEN THE SAUCE, MIX 2 TBSP CORN STARCH WITH A FEW DROPS OF WATER UNTIL SMOOTH AND ADD INTO THE ASPARAGAS & SHRIMP MIXTURE.
