From the kitchen of: Sunset Magazine-modified Healthier Burger Serves/Yields: 8 Burgers
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 lbs lean ground beef or mixture of beef and ground turkey
1 and 1/2 cup diced fresh mushrooms
3/4 cup diced red pepper
3/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup diced carrot
1 tbsp lite soy sauce or worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
8 whole wheat hamburger buns
How to Make:
Combine all ingredients in large bowl (except buns!) and shape into 8 patties.
Grill, broil or fry 4-5 minutes on each side.
