One 9 ounce can black olives
3 cups cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mayonaise
1/3 cup minced celery
3 tbsp minced onion
5 large sourdough rolls
Set aside 1 cup olives. Chop the rest.
Beat together cheese and mayonaise.
Add celery, onion and chopped olives.
Halve roll; pull out center leaving 1/2 inch shells.
Spread all halfs with cheese mixtures.
Place whole olives in a row on the center of the five bottom halves.
Place tops back on.
Chill for several hours.
Cut into slices.
