18 slices of stale bread/crusts removed
(French bread is good/not sourdough)
Butter
7 and 1/2 cups of shredded cheese
12 eggs
7 and 1/2 cups of milk
1 tbsp of salt
3/4 tsp of dry mustard
Optional chopped ham, cooked sausage, kielbasa
Spread butter on bread, then cut into quarters if bread is to big. Spread one layer of bread over greased 9 by 13 baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Repeat two times. May add chopped ham, cooked sausage, shrimp, crab or kielbasa to these layers if desired. Beat together eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Pour over the beard and cheese. Let sit in refrigerator over night. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
