1 1/2 cups cooked chicken or turkey cut into cubes
1 minced green pepper
3 chopped mushrooms (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
White Sauce (recipe to follow)
White Sauce #2
1 cup milk
2 Tablespoons flour
1 1/2 Tablespoons
melted butter
1/2 Teaspoon salt
White sauce
Mix flour with 1/4 cup of milk, stir untill smooth. Add the remainder of the liquid and cook in double boiler or over direct heat, stirring constantly untill it thickens. Add butter and salt.
Add chicken or turkey and remaining ingredients to White Sauce and heat for 10 minutes. Serve over toast.
