Fondant-Stuffed Dates
4 and 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon almond extract
4 dozen pitted dates
Blend sugar, milk and flavoring. Knead fondant until smooth and creamy. Cover with damp cloth. Refrigerate 24 hours.
Fill each date with fondant. Roll in granulated or confectioners' sugar.
