1 package (3 oz) cream cheese
3 tbsp cream
1 quart strawberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup whipping cream
2 tbsp cornstarch
5 drops lemon juice
1 baked pie crust
Blead cream cheese and cream until soft and smooth. Spread over cool pie shell. Wash and hull berries. Select only 1/2 the best berries. Add sugar to the other half and let stand 'till juicy. Was and run through a sieve. Mix and cornstarch and lemon juice in the puree and cook until thick and clear stirring constantly. Cool and put half over the cream cheese. Arrange berries over this and rest of puree over this and chill. Top with whipped cream.
