2/3 cup crisco
2/3 cup butter(margarine)
1 and 1/4 cup sugar
1 and 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tbsp vanilla
2 eggs
4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp of salt
2 cup of semisweet choc. chips (add more if you wish)
2 cup of walnuts
Heat oven to 350 degrees..mix crisco, sugars, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until creamy. Stir in flour slowly with baking soda and salt added to the flour. Mix well. Add in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown. Cool and remove from cookie sheet. Makes 3 dozen or more.
