1 and 1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup melted butter
4 eggs
1 cup sweet cream (or canned milk)
2 to 3 cups cake flour
Beat eggs and sugar. Add flour. Beat together thoroughly.
Put 1 tablespoon batter on hot iron. If hand iron, turn back and forth over hot burner until batter is light tan in color. Remove from iron and roll around the wooden cone. Lay in flat place to cool.
