2 cups old fashioned or quick oats
1 and 1/2 cup flour
2 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup melted margerine
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups milk
Combine dry ingredients. Add eggs, milk and melted margarine. Mix well. For each pancake, pour 1/2 cup batter onto hot, greased griddle. Cook over medium heat until bubbles form on the surface. Turn and brown on other side. Spread with additional butter or margarine and warmed fruit, jam or jelly. Filling, but not heavy. Makes 9 pancakes.
