1 cup corn syrup, white
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 heaping cup of shelled pecans
3 whole eggs
Dash of vanilla
Pinch of salt
Mix ingredients well and pour into an unbaked, 9 inch pastry pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. cool and serve plain or topped with whipped cream.
