French Potato Salad

1 lb new potatoes
1/2 cup salad oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 lb green beans
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup water
2 chicken bouillion cubes
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives
2 tbsp wine vinegar
Salt to taste

Steam potatoes in jackets. Cool, cube, salt lightly and set aside. Combine oil, water, garlic, bouillon stirring to blend and add green beans. Cover, boil five minutes. Remove lid and cook 'til barely tender. Drain and add to potatoes with rest of ingredients. Mix well. Serve warm or chilled. (Add a pinch of sugar to oil and water mix. Also good with a little dilled mayonnaise).
