• You can refrigerate bananas. The skin turns brown but the inside is still white. If you have a surplus of them, peel and freeze them. Use in any baking dishes or just east as a snack. Tastes like ice cream! [page 203]
• If watching weight, forego generous amounts of oil in salad dressings. Use equal amount of oil to vinegar rather than the typicla three to one ratio. Or use water in place of some of the oil in the recipe. Another suggestion would be to change to a dressing that has yogurt as the main ingredients. [page 203]
