- When you have leftover cereal add 1 cup to bread dough before kneading. [Page 124]
- To keep cereals from getting wormy, place a couple of bay leaves in the container. [Page 124]
- Use bulgar wheat in place of brown rice in your recipe when you are hurried for time. Bulgar only takes 10 to 15 minutes to cook, whereas brown rice takes 40 minutes. [Page 124]
- Fried rice turns out much fluffier if you cook the rice the day before and refrigerate it. [Page 124]
